This year again, we attended the Lions de Cannes and were glad to see some of our dearest friends & clients… And seing quite a lot of them winning major prizes (again, congratulations to all contestants and winners).

As for the top trends we took note of while attending some great panels and conferences, we remember the talks on responsible advertising, the need for purpose and relevancy, the importance of well integrated ads from a cultural stand point… and the need to further embrace diversity while undoing stereotyping.

Heard in Cannes:

True story! With of course a great example presented by Samsung Canada and their ad with the song “Thunderclouds” by LSD feat. Sia, Diplo & Labyrinth.
